Transportation Ministry

The Transportation
Ministry was born of the need to assist members of the church without
means of transportation to attend worship services. This Ministry ensures
that members are provided safe, convenient and essential transportation
to and from the church. Some of these members are challenged by age,
physical and financial city to accommodate attendance at Sunday School
(9:30 AM), worship service at 11:00 AM and BTU at 1:30 PM. A return trip
is made after 2:30 PM. On Wednesdays, the bus picks up members attending
Mid-day Prayer and Bible Institute at 11:15 AM and returns them safely
home. The Ministry also supports the First Rising Mt. Zion Child Development
Center and serves children of the church and surrounding community in
fellowship activities and enrichment prograMrs. The Transportation Ministry
carries out the Church’s mandate - dedication to providing safe,
well-maintained vans and buses as well as having sufficient drivers to
fulfill needs.
