The Homeless/Addictions Ministry is an arm of the Evangelistic Outreach Ministry of First Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Its concept stems from the need homeless and addicted persons and their loved ones to be connected to society and have access to mainstream social support services. The vision of the ministry is to become that “connection” through referrals, resources, education, information and fellowship around God’s Word. The Homeless and Addictions Ministry will also strive to under gird other ministries with the same target population, by sharing its database and other resources.
